ABSTRACT:
A modified conjugate fibre product is formed by applying a predetermined amount of finely-divided particles to a conjugate fibre product and heating the product in an open, substantially tensionless condition at a non-sticking temperature (as defined) for 2 to 40 minutes. By this method, the particles penetrate into the fibre product without inter-fibre sticking taking place.
