An image processing unit A has a unit main body2and a panel1that is supported movably with respect to the unit main body2and is equipped with a control component5and/or a display component6,and has a panel support mechanism C that supports the panel1such that the control component5and/or the display component6can be changed from an upward orientation to a lateral orientation facing the side with respect to the unit main body2,in conjunction with the movement of panel1toward the side.
