ABSTRACT:
A method of processing, by use of an automatic processor, a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer comprising the steps of developing, fixing, washing and drying the photographic material, wherein a developer has a pH of 10.4 or more and is replenished at a rate of 50 to 220 ml/m.sup.2, and wherein the silver halide emulsion layer contains a spectral sensitizing dye selected from carbocyanine, dicarbocyanine and merocyanine dyes.
