ABSTRACT:
Provided are a processing material used for forming images on a heat-developable photosensitive material by heating the processing material and the photosensitive material in a condition that they are brought into face-to-face contact, with the processing material comprising a long web support, preferably having a thickness of from 4 to 40 .mu.m, provided thereon a processing layer, preferably comprising a base or a precursor of bases; and a method of forming images on a heat-developable photosensitive material, which comprises a step of supplying a fountain water to the photosensitive material, a step of bringing the dampened photosensitive material into face-to-face contact with the aforesaid processing material and a step of applying heat thereto.
