ABSTRACT:
A sweetening agent or sweetened food which comprises .alpha.-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (Aspartame) and an aqueous dispersing agent, wherein the Aspartame is present in an amount sufficient to saturate the aqueous dispersing agent and further to provide undissolved Aspartame, is disclosed along with a method for producing such foods and sweetening agents.
