ABSTRACT:
A process for producing a color developer sheet for pressure-sensitive recording comprising mixing a coating liquid containing a metal salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid and an aqueous emulsion of an organic solvent and coating the resulting mixture on a support, wherein the organic solvent has a boiling point of about 150.degree. C. to about 315.degree. C. and dissolves the metal salt of the aromatic carboxylic acid in such an amount that the metal salt of the aromatic carboxylic acid has a solubility in the organic solvent of 10 or more at 25.degree. C.
