ABSTRACT:
A process of producing calcium aluminate monosulfate hydrate by reacting a mixture of a lime component, an alumina component, a calcium sulfate component, and water at a temperature of from about 100.degree. C. to about 200.degree. C.
By the process of this invention, the aimed product having a high purity is obtained at a high yield without need of high temperature for the reaction. The product obtained is useful as building materials.
