ABSTRACT:
A hot melt adhesive is applied to a side of a fibrous sheet1(e.g., nonwoven fabric) with an applicator2to form an adhesive layer3. Ink drops are ejected from an inkjet head5onto either (1) the adhesive layer3on that side of the fibrous sheet or (2) the opposite side of the fibrous sheet within the area corresponding to the adhesive layer3.
