ABSTRACT:
In manufacturing gypsum products, crushed natural dihydrous gypsum CaSO.sub.4.2H.sub.2 O is molded and heat-treated in air at temperatures ranging from 100.degree. to 200.degree. C. The temperature is raised to a required level at a rate of 2 to 3 degrees per minute. The products are strengthened by watering.
The end gypsum products feature a water absorption of 7 to 10% and a frost resistance of 40 to 50 cycles. Their compression strength is 170 to 300 kg/cm.sup.2.
