ABSTRACT:
This invention is generally directed to toner compositions comprised of a magnetic material and a resin comprising a polymeric esterification product of 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid polymerized with 1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylic aicd-cyclic 1,2-anhydride and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propane diol. The magnetic material can act as both the colorant and magnetic substance, or an additional colorant such as carbon black can be utilized. The toners of the present invention in one preferred embodiment are useful for developing magnetic images.
