ABSTRACT:
Isobutane may be dehydrogenated to isobutylene with increased selectivity by passing isobutane together with hydrogen and ammonia at 700.degree. F.-1200.degree. F. in the presence of a supported catalyst containing Group IA metals (Li, K) plus Pt-Re, Pt-Ge, or Pt-Re-Ge.
