ABSTRACT:
Process for the work-up of hydrogen-sulfide containing gases which are normally subjected to Claus process, reduction, absorption, and desorption, characterized in that a portion of the feed gases by-passes the Claus unit and is processed in a CO.sub.2 -selective secondary absorption-desorption procedure.
