ABSTRACT:
A process is disclosed wherein a naphtha feedstock is subjected to hydrotreating, a C.sub.5 + fraction from the hydrotreating zone effluent is catalytically reformed in a reforming zone with the reformate being subjected to selective catalytic hydrocracking to produce C.sub.4 + liquid fraction. The liquid fraction is then admixed with a portion of C.sub.4 hydrocarbons obtained from the hydrotreating zone effluent.
