ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a process for the sulfurization of phosphorus-containing compounds which comprises contacting the phosphorus compound to be sulfurized with a sulfur transfer reagent of formula (I)whereinR1is aryl which can be substituted by halo, (C1–C6) alkyl or (C1-C6) alkoxy, andR2is (C1–C6) alkyl, which could also form a cyclic ring together with R1, in a solvent or a mixture of solvents.
