ABSTRACT:
A process for stabilizing hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane is provided, said process involving the intimate admiture of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane and an alkaline earth oxide, such as magnesium oxide (MgO). The resultant stabilized compositions are also encompassed herein.
