ABSTRACT:
Phospholipids and/or chlorophyll and other color bodies are removed from glyderide oil by contacting the oil with an acid-treated amorphous silica adsorbent comprising a high surface area amorphous silica on which is supported an acid having a pK.sub.a of about 3.5 or lower.
