ABSTRACT:
The carbon monoxide contained in .alpha.-olefins and saturated hydrocarbons, in particular .alpha.-olefins and C.sub.2-4 saturated hydrocarbons, is removed, by contacting such .alpha.-olefins and saturated hydrocarbons, at a temperature ranging from 0.degree. to 150.degree. C., with a catalyst system comprising a mixture and/or the reaction product of:
