ABSTRACT:
A process for the removal of polar and nonpolar solvents from a gas stream by contacting the gas stream with an absorption liquid in order to absorb the solvents from the gas stream is described, in which the glycol di-n-butyl ethers of the formula below ##STR1## in which R is H or CH.sub.3, and x is 1 to 8 are used as absorption liquid.
