ABSTRACT:
Urethane elastomers are prepared by reacting a long-chain polyol having a molecular weight of 400 - 5000 in a one-shot operation with an organic diisocyanate and a halogenated aromatic diamine of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3 and X.sub.4 are the same or different and each represents a halogen atom and n is zero or 1. According to this process, urethane elastomers possessing excellent physical characteristics can be produced economically and advantageously in the operations.
