ABSTRACT:
Process for the production of 2,6-dichloro-5-hydroxy-anils having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and each is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, by the conversion of 2,4-dichloro-3-aminophenol with a ketone. The reaction is conducted at a temperature of 0.degree. to 50.degree. C.
