ABSTRACT:
Optionally-foamed polyurethanes are produced by reacting polyisocyanates with organic compounds containing at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms and having a molecular weight in the range from 400 to 10,000, in the presence of activators corresponding to the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be the same or different and represent C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.14 -aryl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.30 -alkaryl,
