ABSTRACT:
Prepare 4-amino-1,3-dicyano-2-methyl-1,3-pentadiene and related substituted aminodienes by contacting .beta.-aminocrotononitrile and related substituted aminoalkenes with a base acceptor in a solvent under mild conditions.
