ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a process for preparing chlorinated isocyanide dichlorides comprising reacting an olefin with at least equimolar quantities of chlorine and cyanogen chloride at a temperature of from -30.degree. C to about 70.degree. C in the presence of a Friedel-Crafts catalyst.
