ABSTRACT:
Cast film on the basis of low-density polyethylene is prepared by extruding the molten polymer at temperatures of the melt at the die gap of below 200.degree. C. Films that have been prepared this way have special mono-axial orientation as a result of which the mechanical properties are improved.
