ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing an alkylthiosemicarbazide of the formula ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms
by contacting a dialkylthiouram disulfide of the formula ##STR2## wherein R represents an alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms
with hydrazine in an aqueous medium.
