ABSTRACT:
A process for the preparation of a pasteurized factor VIII concentrate with high specific activity and stability is described, which comprises adsorbing impurities from the solution containing the factor VIII by at least two-fold adsorption with Al(OH).sub.3, an anion exchanger or Ca.sub.3 (PO.sub.4).sub.2, preferably with two different adsorbents from this group.
