ABSTRACT:
A process for the photochemical stabilization of wool is described, which comprises treating the wool with an aqueous solution comprising at least one UV absorber of the formula ##STR1## in which at least one of the substituents R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is a radical of the formula ##STR2## in which M is hydrogen; or an equivalent of a cation;
