ABSTRACT:
Ethyltoluene is oxidatively dehydrogenated to methylstyrene selectivity and in high conversions by treatment with hydrogen sulfide and oxygen at elevated temperatures of about 450.degree. C. to 700.degree. C. over magnesium oxide catalyst.
