ABSTRACT:
A flat glass sheet is manufactured using the float process. Before annealing of glass carried on rollers, the glass is conveyed by a fluid bed formed by a mixture of gases, in order to cool the glass to approximately 600.degree. C. before it reaches an annealing lehr.
