ABSTRACT:
A process for the aftertreatment of dyed cellulosic fibre material for the improvement of wet fastness properties, comprising the use of an aqueous liquor which contains a polyquaternary ammonium compound obtained by the reaction of an epihalohydrin with a linear polymer which has repeating units of formula ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl.
