ABSTRACT:
A process for the preparation of vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer pulverulent powders suitable for the preparation of plastisols with improved rheological properties, comprising polymerizing to form a vinyl chloride homopolymer or copolymer latex and drying said latex by atomization, the temperature at which the latex to be subjected to drying by atomization is employed being at least equal to 40.degree. C. and being lower than the degradation temperature of said homopolymer or copolymer, and the resultant vinyl chloride polymer pulverulent powders.
