ABSTRACT:
Volatile substances are removed from styrene resin by introducing steam into styrene resin suspended in hot water, while agitating the suspension, to maintain the suspension at a temperature of 120.degree. to 150.degree. C. and a pressure of 1.4 to 4 kg/cm.sup.2 G whereby to remove the volatile substances.
