ABSTRACT:
A process for the rapid post curing of polyether polyurethane foam in the form of porous blocks in which the foam is subjected to a mixture of water vapor and gaseous ammonia, primary or secondary amines at a temperature of about 50.degree. to 150.degree. F. for a period of 1 or more minutes. The cured foam recovers its original dimensions when distorted or compressed after the distortion or compression force is released.
