ABSTRACT:
A process for producing a substituted phenoxyacetaldehyde oxime of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as defined in the specification), which comprises reacting a substituted phenoxyacetaldehyde dialkylacetal of the formula: ##STR2## (wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are as defined in the specification) with a hydroxylamine at a pH of from 0.1 to 1.0.
