ABSTRACT:
A process for processing silver halide color photographic materials, which comprises processing, after image-wise exposure, a silver halide color photographic material with a color developer containing an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein n represents an integer of at least 1; R represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group or the n-valent groups corresponding to the groups when n represents an integer of at least 2; and A represents an organic group containing a carbon atom, an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom, or a sulfur atom and forms a saturated or unsaturated 3- to 8-membered ring with the nitrogen atom, said A is substituted or unsubstituted and may be condensed with a benzene ring or a heterocyclic ring.
