ABSTRACT:
Nitrosyl fluoride (NOF) is prepared in a simple and economical manner with high yield by reacting nitrosyl sulphuric acid (ONOSO.sub.3 H) with hydrofluoric acid, operating in the liquid phase in the presence of water.
