ABSTRACT:
A highly conductive polyacetylene film is obtained by orienting a catalyst-containing polyacetylene film or an essentially catalyst-free polyacetylene film which has been swelled in a solvent after the catalyst has been washed out, the polyacetylene being essentially free of sp.sup.3 -hybridized carbon atoms.
