ABSTRACT:
Sodium perborate having an active oxygen content of about 11.0 to 12.0 weight percent and a bulk density of about 0.40 to 0.70 g./cc. is made by a process comprising (1) agglomerating conventional sodium perborate tetrahydrate with hydrogen peroxide to form spherical particles and (2) drying the resulting particles at a temperature below 45.degree.C.
