ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a dioxazine compound represented by the formula (1) which comprises carrying out a ring closure reaction of a compound represented by the formula (2) in the presence of a dioxazine derivative of the formula (3), colored materials containing this dioxazine compound, and dioxazine compounds having a plate-like crystal form: ##STR1##
