ABSTRACT:
A process for producing cement comprises grinding of a mixture of raw components containing calcium chloride. The resulting raw mixture is subjected to calcination at a temperature within the range of from 1,000 to 1,100.degree. C to produce a clinker which is then crushed at a temperature of from 900 to 1,100.degree. C. The crushed clinker is fractionated at a temperature of from 1,000 to 1,100.degree. C with a stream of the fuel combustion products at the speed thereof of from 6 to 30 m/sec. Two clinker fractions are thus obtained, namely: a fraction with a particle size of from 3 to 20 mm and a fraction with a particle size of from 0.1 to 3 mm. Each fraction is separately desalted at a temperature of from 900 to 1,100.degree. C by way of contacting with a stream of the heating agent comprising the fuel combustion products. The resulting desalted clinker fractions are cooled and ground.
The process for producing cement according to the present invention features stable conditions of the clinker desalting achieving the depth of the order of 1.5-2%.
