ABSTRACT:
A process for producing a film for controlling the chemotactic function in an extremely small area in which a chemotactic factor substance in the area has a concentration gradient in one direction. The invention further includes an artificial material with an arrangement in which, on a substrate, there is a film having a chemotactic factor substance for controlling the chemotactic function which it has a concentration gradient in one direction. The process of the invention includes controlling the amount of irradiation in one direction of the film such that the chemotactic factor substance is degenerated which results in a corresponding concentration gradient of the film in the one direction.
