ABSTRACT:
A process for processing a silver halide color photographic material is described, which comprises processing by treatment with a color developer containing an aromatic primary amine developing agent but substantially free from benzyl alcohol, for a time shorter than 2 min and 30 sec, a silver halide color photographic material having on a support at least one photograph-constituting layer containing a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.0 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; and Z represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted acetyl group.
