ABSTRACT:
The present invention describes a process for preparing a synergistic stabilizer mixture comprising the components of the general formulae (I), (II) and (III) in accordance with claim1, characterized by the reaction of compounds of the formula (V)with an epihalohydrin of the formula (VI)in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst and from 4 to 20 times the molar amount of an alkali metal hydroxide, relative to compound (V), at from 20 to 220° C. Removal of the excess epihalohydrin and phase separation are followed by polymerization at from 100 to 240° C.
