ABSTRACT:
Slub yarns are prepared by adding 10-50% by weight 0.25 to 1 in. long bicomponent acrylic fibers having a density of about 1.0 to 1.17 g/cm.sup.3 and an equilibrium crimp reversibility of at least about 20% with staple fibers during or before carding and processing to a slub containing spun yarn in a conventional manner.
