ABSTRACT:
A continuous process for simultaneously drying, thickening and increasing the flowability and processibility of polycarbonate powders is disclosed. The powders are fed to a tubular drier equipped with a mechanical stirrer in which they are fluidized with the aid of a stream of heated inert gas or vapor flowing counter-currently to the powders.
