ABSTRACT:
Carbonated aqueous liquids can be prepared at ambient pressure with activiated charcoals containing adsorbed carbon dioxide and a coating of a small organic compound such as a di or tricarboxylic acid, a C.sub.10 -C.sub.18 fatty acid or a monocyclic terpene or related compound.
