ABSTRACT:
Compounds of general formula: ##STR1## particularly 1,4-bis-piperonylpiperazine, are obtained with high yields by reacting equimolar quantities of piperazine and of a chloride Ar--CH.sub.2 --Cl in the presence of water, under agitation, and in the presence of a cationic surfactant.
