ABSTRACT:
An improved process for manufacturing a spectrally sensitized photographic element comprising the combination of ultrafiltration of silver halide grains in combination with a supersensitizing additive consisting of ##STR1## wherein D.sup.+ is Na.sup.+, K.sup.+, Li.sup.+, NH4.sup.+ ; n is 1-5; m is 1-10.
