ABSTRACT:
A process is disclosed for metalating a polyolefin halide so that there is a low amount of cross-linking site reactions. The process comprises adding a solvated transmetalating organometallic compound to a cement mix of a polyolefin halide and a solvent. The reaction temperature is below -20.degree. C.
