ABSTRACT:
A process for manufacturing a spherical catalyst comprising magnetite, aluminum oxide, potash, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide, for the ammonia synthesis, comprising: melting the charge in a furnace, preferably of the resistance type, at a temperature not lower than 1600.degree. C., granulating the mass in a dish granulator, after the addition of water and bentonite, dehydrating and sintering the granulate product.
